Hi, I'm currently in a CC, but I'm not finding it totally suitable. Although the club is run very well by a bunch of committed and enthusiastic guys, they are really keen on Clash and Turf War games. I don't mind playing the Clash tourneys when I have the time, but I don't have the ambition the Club does, hoping to get further up the leader board by amassing great support from the members when each tournament begins. I would much rather play local club tournaments and social matches (such as Alt-Shot etc) with other club members. I also enjoy having a chat via Discord whilst playing - it certainly beats all that typing! I want a more sociable experience, not the cut-and-thrust of intense competition! I've been playing a while now and am currently at Legend tier. I use a laptop by preference and would be interested to know the breakdown of mobile and non-mobile players. If you think SEL and I may be a suitable combination, I will continue to play every day possible(currently 900+ days) and join in as many of the club activities as I can.
I've sent a friend request to nicozandberg so he can ask any further questions. I look forward to his reply.

if you are fair dinkum & interested, you wont find better
hundreds of pretenders join SEL every year, thinkin they can play red tee tourneys and check out within a day or two
our long term members more refer it to the Eagles classic
Hotel SELifornia, you can check out any time you like " but you can never leave"

Happy to see you thinking about joining the team.
From what I read so far you will love it here.
There is no doubt that this is the best club with the best folks in all of WGT land.
Also quite a bunch of great players.
Also happy to admit we are not a 'clash club' some play, most don't, and you would be more than welcome to do either.
Actually you may have to go to the archives to even find a post about a clash.

I was a member of a CC that was becoming increasingly Clash focused prior to birth of my 2nd daughter earlier this year. With less time to play and little interest in the Clash generally I decided to leave the CC and spend some time "on my own" while I was unable to play regularly. I am now playing daily again and am pretty bored of just playing solo tournaments and am keen to get into tours, leagues, ladders, have a bit of banter etc and to be part of a CC with better players from whom I can learn and improve.
I think I have sent a request to join on WGT App but not entirely sure as it kept asking me if I wanted to request membership again. Anyway I read Nico's original post in the WGT.com forum and I though SEL was exactly the sort of club I'd like to get involved with. Only question I have is if I could play without being on Discord as I tend to spend evenings with wife watching TV etc in background so might be unpopular if I was to start chatting away in the middle of her favourite shows!
